IDENTIFICATION

A passport, identity card or European identity card is required for check-in.

STAG AND HEN PARTIES

We do not accept bookings for stag or hen parties. TAKE Hostel Conil reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone who has booked and is part of a stag/hen party.

GROUPS

Please contact us by email or telephone for more information on group policies as the property reserves the right to cancel group reservations that have not been presviously accepted. Group reservations may incur an additional cost.

AGE RESTRICTIONS

We do not accept bookings from people under the age of 18, unless accompanied by an adult (18 years or over). Guests wishing to bring children under the age of 16 must book a private room. We do not have age limit, but most of our shared room guests are between 18 and 40.

ROOM RESERVATIONS

If you are travelling with family or friends, we will do our best to accommodate you all in the same room, but we cannot guarantee this. If you want to make sure you’re all together, we suggest you book a private or shared room. We have mixed rooms and rooms for women. TAKE Hostel Conil reserves the right to refuse entry to any man who has booked a room shared with a woman.

PAYMENT

Please note that we only accept payment in cash (euros), PayPal, Visa and Mastercard. If the name on the card used to make the booking differs from the name of the person staying with us, we will ask you to send us a copy of the card and a copy of the cardholder’s ID. If we do not receive this documentation before check-in, the guest will be asked to pay for the entire stay using their own credit card and the deposit charged to the original card will be refunded.

COMFORT AND SAFETY

The comfort and safety of our guests is very important to us. Any guest who, in the opinion of our staff, compromises the comfort or safety of other guests, staff or local residents will be asked to leave and no refund will be made. Guests are expected to respect other guests, staff, local residents and the property.

NO SMOKING

Smoking is prohibited inside the establishment. Smoking is only permitted outside. If a customer smokes inside, they will be penalized (€100) and asked to leave the premises. In this case, no refund will be made.

NO DRUGS

Drugs are illegal in Spain. If a guest consumes drugs in any part of the building, they will be asked to leave and no refund will be given.

CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOL

Alcohol is not served to guests under the age of 18. Alcohol is available at the bar and may only be consumed there and in the designated areas. Due to our bar licence, guests are not permitted to bring their own alcohol onto the TAKE Hostel Conil premises.

PERSONAL BELONGINGS

Each bed (in shared rooms) has a locker for small valuable objects. TAKE Hostel Conil is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to guests’ belongings. We recommend that you bring a padlock to secure your belongings.

DAMAGE TO TAKE HOSTEL CONIL

The Take Hostel Conil will ask guests who cause damage due to inappropriate behaviour during their stay to assume responsibility for this damage. The corresponding amount will be charged to the customer’s credit card.

LIABILITY

Except in the case of death or injury caused by our negligence, TAKE Hostel Conil’s liability is, at all times, limited to the value of the services booked, excluding any change fees paid to us.

PERSONAL DATA

TAKE Hostel Conil will only store and use your personal information for the purpose of managing your stay. Your data is stored in the CloudBeds database and may be used to inform you of new services and offers that may be of interest to you. If you do not wish to receive such information, please let us know by sending an e-mail to: reservas@takehostelconil.com

MANDATORY DECLARATION

Any omissions or typographical errors in our documentation, website, rates, quotations, booking confirmations, invoices or any other documents issued by TAKE Hostel Conil may be corrected without liability. We will inform you of any changes at the time of booking or as soon as possible thereafter.

DISCRETION

All bookings are subject to availability and TAKE Hostel Conil reserves the right to refuse any booking at its discretion.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Group classes:

1- FREE cancellation up to 24 hours before the class. Within 24 days before the class, the cancellation will be due to a change of dates based on availability within 365 days from the date of the reservation, there will be no refund of the amount paid.
2- Failure to attend class without prior notice will also be grounds for no refund or change of date.
3-Classes that are canceled by the school due to weather conditions or lack of waves will be rescheduled.


Private classes :

1- FREE cancellation up to 24 hours before the class. Within 24 hours before the class there will be no change of date or refund of the amount paid.

– Up to 24 hours before the reservation, free cancellation. After 24H only date change and no refund.

– Up to 7 days before the reservation check-in, free cancellation.

– In the 6 days before check-in the reservation cannot be canceled and no refund will be given.

· Accommodation + surf or surfcamp packages:

– Up to 7 days before the reservation check-in, free cancellation.

– In the 6 days before the reservation check-in, there is no cancellation, modification or refund of the reservation.

– Surfing, the activities and services we provide depend largely on nature and therefore, on weather conditions and waves. If the conditions are not favorable, different activities will be offered or the date or time of the activities will be changed within the reservation dates. In no case will they be refunded.

RENTAL

 

  1. The participant agrees to the terms and conditions set forth in this document, including those terms and conditions that may be legally required in the future for the defense and protection of the participant.

 

  1. The participant declares to have the theoretical and practical knowledge necessary for the use of the sports equipment being rented and that the equipment is in perfect condition. The participant assumes responsibility for the loss, care, and damage to the rented equipment, agreeing to reimburse the company for any damage the equipment may suffer or for its replacement in case of loss or theft. Finally, the participant confirms that the equipment will be returned to the school clean and free of sand before the establishment’s closing.

 

  1. The participant acknowledges being in the necessary physical conditions to engage in sports activities and is free from any injuries that could pose a risk. The company is not responsible for any injuries sustained during the practice, neither to the participant nor to third parties, in the disciplines you will engage in.

 

  1. The participant accepts and acknowledges that the use of various equipment and/or sports tools owned by the company may cause injuries or physical harm. The participant willingly accepts the use of such materials and assumes the risk it entails regarding their pre-existing physical condition. In case of the participant’s death or accident during the use of sports equipment, the participant agrees that the company is exempt from liability as far as permissible by the applicable law. The company, in turn, ensures that the sports services provided are offered with sufficient skill and knowledge to protect the participant’s physical health.

 

  1. The company may assign any of its obligations and rights outlined in this terms and conditions document to a third party, and the participant accepts that the company’s obligations and rights may be transferred to a third party without prior notice.

 

  1. The fact that the company does not enforce or report its rights and obligations to the participant at any time or for any reason shall not be considered a waiver of those rights.

 

  1. If the participant is a minor (under 18 years old), an accompanying adult must accept the terms and conditions on behalf of the minor, assuming the responsibilities and rights and relieving the company of any liability for injuries or physical harm.

 

  1. The participant authorizes the company to take photos and videos of the classes and activities in which they participate and to publish them on social media or other visual media, and in their promotional use through posters, flyers, vinyl, pamphlets, etc. The participant who does not wish to grant their image rights to the company must explicitly state so in this document in writing.

 

CLASSES

 

  1. The participant agrees to the terms and conditions set forth in this document, including those terms and conditions that may be legally required in the future for the defense and protection of the participant.

 

  1. The participant confirms their participation in the course provided by the company, assuming the risks associated with sports practice. The participant commits to always follow the rules established by the instructor, respecting navigation limits of no more than 500m from the shore or within the space where the activity takes place. The participant will return the equipment to the school clean and free of sand at the end of the class. The company is not responsible for physical harm that may occur to the student due to force majeure, negligent behavior, or actions of third parties. The company is not responsible for damages, losses, or theft of belongings or materials owned by the student, with the student being responsible for the custody and maintenance of their personal items during the class.

 

  1. The participant guarantees that they can swim and are physically capable of engaging in water sports and other activities offered by the company. Additionally, they acknowledge being free from any illness or physical disability that would hinder normal participation in any exercise or sport. If not, the client is obligated to inform the company of any old or recent physical condition that has prevented or prevents the regular practice of any exercise or sport. The company is not responsible for any injuries sustained during the practice of the disciplines you will engage in.
