BY CAR
Well, you probably know how to use a navigation system, but that’s not what we want to talk about.
Bringing your own car or renting one can be handy to get to Conil and to get around. There are a lot of places to discover in this region. Anyways, if you want to skip the public transport and get to Conil quickly try blablacar.es, which is a very common way of traveling here in Andalusia. Don’t worry if you don’t have a car, we offer various shuttle services, for example one between our surf school in El Palmar and the hostel in Conil.
BY TRAIN
There is no train station in Conil or El Palmar, but you can get close enough to make it here by public transport. There’s train station in Cadiz and from there you can take a bus to Conil.
Some trains stop as well in San Fernando, which is slightly closer, and from there we can pick you up.Also there’s a rapid train connecting Madrid and Jerez de la Frontera.
BY BUS
To get to Conil or El Palmar this might be most convenient option, as it delivers you directly to Conil. There is a variety of private run buses, which you can easily compare through omio.comor book the public bus linetgcomes.es which connect the towns in the area of Cadiz. With tgcomes.es you can travel between Cadiz, San Fernando, Chiclana, Conil and Tarifa even up to Malaga.
BY AIRPLANE
The closest airport is Jerez de la Frontera (XRY), it is only 50 minutes away from Conil de la Frontera. We offer a shuttle service between Jerez and Take Hostel. Next closest is the airport of Sevilla (SVQ), from there you can take the airport bus into city centre and change for a bus (estacion del prado) or train to Conil. From Sevilla you have by far the most options (bus, train, car sharing or rental cars), so this is probably the destination that offers most flexibility and which is beautiful to look at, if you include a day of layover. Malaga Airport (AGP) is an option as well. Often the flights are cheaper from there, but is slightly further away (2,5 hours by car) and the public transport is limited to only one bus per day with tgcomes.es.
